I'm a Baptiste-trained instructor and I've been teaching since 2010. I teach vinyasa yoga from "beginner-level" (we're all beginners) to "vigorous" (a seated meditation could be quite vigorous some days) with an emphasis on attentiveness and honesty. We pay attention to alignment, sustainable strength-building, and unique way of exploring asana. I also teach yin yoga and yin-vinyasa fusion. If you want to read about my personal take on practice, go here.

I completed my 200-hour Level 1 and Level 2 Baptiste trainings through Amazing Yoga in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where my own practice really began, and where I started my teaching career as an assistant to Karen Conley. I have studied additionally with Rusty Wells, Real Evolution Yoga, Bryan Kest, Baron Baptiste, Natasha Rizopoulos, and many more, but these have been the most influential. I practice with Christina Sell's online Asana Junkies courses (with my supportive crew of fellow Santa Cruz-based teachers), and with Christina in person when she graces Northern Cali, and her brilliant teaching has inspired me strongly in recent years.

My teacher training hours, over about six years, are around 1000. My teaching experience includes leading and co-leading workshops of my design and designed by others (like Foundations workshops), collaborating in teacher trainings, teaching to kids ages five and up, leading classes with at-risk teen girls, and serving as former Workshop Coordinator at PurePower Yoga. I do teach in-home and in-studio private lesson and am available for commissioned session for small groups.
